TTL: What inspired you to first volunteer with the Tool Library?
DS: I read about tool libraries right after I moved to Tacoma and thought it would be great here. When I found out there was one here I wanted to help out.
TTL: How do you volunteer with the Tool Library?
DS: I started volunteering during open hours and have recently started inventory Sunday’s and the fundraising committee.
TTL: What do you feel like you “bring to the table” when you volunteer?
DS: A desire to work for our community and many years of experience. I also have a background with non-profits.
TTL: Where are you from, and how long have you been living in Tacoma?
I grew up in Skagit Valley and lived in Portland for several years where I went to college. Tacoma is home now.
